Happy Sunday. I’m starting an Image Archive Museum. This will just be called Museum, a section of my Substack where I index and catalog images, ephemera and clothes. This will live on my Homepage here.
My interest here is to build a gallery of my mind’s eye. The way I imagine this looking is like shelves for a Salomon Snow clog, a Departed CD, an April Vogue.
The difference in writing here will be more forensic.
For this work, I am more concerned in the object or image as an archive or container for information. I will be presenting it then parsing through it.
Like, how does this image or object inform our world today? How does it inform my world of imaging?
Expect these posts once or twice a month, on Sundays. I’m excited!
To start: This April 1994 Vogue.
