Happy Friday! We all agreed that January sucked. I never decided on the Salomon Snow Clogs. On Tuesday the Chase Bank app told me my net worth is $1,300. Anyway. Tomorrow begins a flirty month: February. Yes, it is almost my Super Bowl: Valentine’s Day.
I became a Valentine’s Day truther in 2019 when my boss at Pretties (the good pointelle that all your favorites duped) bought an eBay lot of gorgeous vintage Valentines. So swooned was I by these precious card stock notes that I swiftly switched my stance on Vday. Suddenly it was clear: Valentine’s Day is adorable.
A holiday I can celebrate however I want? An opportunity to buy my friends cute objects? A reminder to see the love in everything around me? Count me in.
Since converting, I baked Valentine’s treats with my friend Maya, wrote this 2021 ode to Los Angeles as my Valentine, mailed Valentines to my friends from

This year I will celebrate however I need. For starters, by drinking a strawberry milkshake with genius
